Anabella Weiss

Accessibility and Inclusion Lead

Anabella is a senior at the University of Michigan majoring in Psychology with a minor in Community Action and Social Change. She is deeply committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion, values she brings to her four years of involvement with optiMize. Through her work on committees including Design, Support Team, Wellness, and Org Culture, Anabella has contributed to building supportive and inclusive spaces for students. She currently serves as the Accessibility and Inclusion Lead and as an eMerge Committee Lead, roles that allow her to make active change on campus and and foster meaningful student engagement.

Beyond optiMize, Anabella focuses on psychology research, with projects focused on racial socialization, developmental experiences, and adoption. She also works with the Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center, where she supports education and advocacy on the University of Michigan's campus. Additionally, she volunteers with on campus organizations that promote mentorship and mental health support.
