Org Culture Challenge Lead

Hi, I'm Estrella, and I’ll be serving as the Organizational Culture Lead for the Social Innovation Challenge (SIC). I’m currently majoring in Biology on the pre-med track with a goal of specializing in dermatology. I’m also a proud first-generation college student, which has shaped much of my motivation and drive to create spaces where others feel seen, supported, and empowered.
A little about my journey with Optimize, I first connected with Opti during Diag Day. I decided to get involved through the Support Team, and it’s been one of the most meaningful decisions I’ve made during my college experience. Since then, working as student staff, I’ve had the chance to meet and collaborate with people from all kinds of backgrounds and disciplines, which has been incredibly inspiring and eye-opening.
Through Optimize, I’ve truly found a space where innovation and heart come together. It’s a community where I’m constantly learning not just about leadership and social impact, but about myself and the kind of change I want to be a part of. As Organizational Culture Lead, I’m especially excited to help foster an inclusive, welcoming, and supportive environment where everyone feels like they belong and can bring their full selves to the table.
