Kamila Martinez

SIC Support Team Lead

Kamila is a Junior at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business where she is concentrating in Marketing and Strategy and minoring in Entrepreneurship. As the Support Team Lead for the Social Innovation Challenge, she is the person to reach out to for any support team questions or general inquiries about the challenge.

She loves optiMize because as someone passionate about business and innovation, she appreciates how Opti encourages students to build ideas that make a social impact while also creating an amazing community of supportive people.

Kamila was born in Quito, Ecuador and moved to the Chicago suburbs when she was seven. This experience shaped her love for learning about different cultures and gave her a deep understanding of what it is like to adapt to a new environment. Outside of school, she enjoys practicing martial arts, trying new restaurants around Ann Arbor, and recently has picked up coloring as a way to relax!
