Kwadwo Dankwa

Podcast Coordinator

Kwadwo is a junior studying Computer Science and Economics at the University of Michigan. Originally from Accra, Ghana, he transferred to U-M in Fall 2024 from UMass Amherst, bringing with him a passion for multimedia, marketing, and building community.
He joined opti because of the strong sense of belonging it offers. “I realized how everyone I know here at Michigan is somehow linked to opti,” he says, and for him, that network has become a source of connection, support, and inspiration. As a Podcast Coordinator, Kwadwo is committed to bringing people together and helping transfer students feel at home, easing the transition from committing to Michigan to arriving on campus.
Beyond his work in opti, Kwadwo is driven by big dreams of developing tech, real estate, and food production ventures across Ghana and Africa. With an artistic eye and entrepreneurial mindset, he blends creativity with strategy to make a meaningful impact.
Outside of the classroom, you’ll probably catch him with a camera in hand, thrifting for his next great find, or at the tennis courts or gym. A music lover and a storyteller through photography.
