Victoria Ekutu (she/hers)
Victoria is a passionate student leader and social entrepreneur who believes in the power of wellness and confidence to transform lives. She is the founder of Skin Like Iridescent Pearls (SLIP Organics LLC), a social venture that creates organic and affordable skincare products for low-income and homeless individuals, particularly those facing harsh outdoor conditions. She has experience in student leadership, program development, and research on safe skincare practices. As an undergraduate at the University of Michigan studying Economics and Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences, Victoria combines her interests in public health, entrepreneurship, and business to build sustainable solutions.
Victoria joined optiMize because she values its community of changemakers and the support it provides for bringing bold ideas to life. Outside of her venture, she holds roles as a residential advisor and member of Black student union. She also explores modeling, creating content on YouTube and TikTok, and sharing her personal journey to inspire others.
